I mentioned using the gutenprint driver for my HP Deskjet 895Cxi printer. This driver is causing issues, I’ve been experiencing for quite a while. The first page it prints is often corrupted, and looks like this
The tail of /var/log/cups/error_log looks like

As these files do not involve the printer I am interested in, I can remove these files, and I am able to use the hpijs or hpcups driver, which don’t have the issue I am experiencing with the gutenprint driver.
Please note: This is happening on the cups on my desktop computer, as it locally renders and sends the rendered data to the cups server running on the Raspberry Pi. However, it should apply to any CUPS installation.
